"Life and Times of a Pandemic Musician"

Renegade! I lead my life as a virtual secret agent -- compartmentalised and somewhat discreet. As with the ignomious James Bond, only M. knows everything that goes on... Until now. Follow the breadcrumbs and wander through my astounding and sometimes unbelievable memoirs, "Life and Times of a Pandemic Musician." Some say that "Truth's Stranger Than Fiction!" What do you think?

Done with Misha. Thank God! On to the next "Psycho Killer." "Qu'est-ce que c'est?" Nina came into my life when I answered her personal ad on Craigslist. Cute picture. Nothing too insane in her write up. We agreed to meet for coffee at the Starbucks on Central Avenue on the way from White Plains to Larchmont. What a pleasant surprise! I walked in and immediately locked eyes with a beautiful, demure, foxy little minx. Don't you love magical beginnings? But then again, doesn't every romance start great?

Nina, a divorced mom, lived with her two teenage sons a few doors down from the Jazz club Watercolors in Larchmont on Central Avenue. When I went to pick her up on our first date, her boys, a bit rambunctious, had no problem with me. Hallelujah! They even kept parakeets, just like I do. I ended up giving them a really nice, deluxe cage for their birds.

Nina loved to walk about in nature. On our first date, we strolled through the Mamaroneck waterfront on a hot, steamy summer night. Unfortunately the low tide stunk to high heaven! But we held hands, ignored the stench, and sweetly smooched as we got to know each other. I drove home one happy camper at a steady 30 mph on North Street searching for hidden cops, LOL!

On our next date, I picked her up, we bought some sandwiches, and then she directed me to the wondrous Larchmont Manor Park, right on the Long Island Sound. We picnicked, then strolled around, ending up on a swing with her in my lap. It only got better when she began bouncing up and down, LOL. Let the pleasure begin! Fortunately for me, Nina believed deeply that physical intimacy plays a large part in keeping a couple together... Hey, once again, everything begins well!

So on yet another hot, humid, off-and-on rainy, lockdown Covid-19 summer day, my brain luxuriates in the memory of the beginning of yet another fine romance. Yes, I'll take "Two Tickets to Paradise" as I learn the bass lines to Eddie Money's "Greatest Hits." One <3
